01 / Graduation project with iGA
ECONX.

Replacing a spreadsheet-based reporting workflow.

Built the frontend and integrated AWS services for a foreign investment reporting system developed with Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority.

Implementation details

The Statistics Department managed company records and quarterly financial reports in Excel. ECONX brought those records, document uploads, and reporting into a web application.

AI document processing
Amazon Bedrock extracts assets, liabilities, equity, and revenue from uploaded PDFs and populates the corresponding financial fields.
AI chatbot
Users ask questions about companies and foreign investments. The chatbot retrieves database records and answers using the stored data.
Integration work
Connected the interface to backend services using Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB.
Workflow improvement
Extracted financial fields and searchable company records support quarterly reporting with less manual data entry.

Sijilat.

Backend functions for document processing.

Developed Python functions for PDF-to-image conversion and document validation in the Sijilat MVP at iGA.

Implementation details

Wrote SQL queries for backend data access and contributed to requirements and AWS architecture. The document functions ran on AWS Lambda as part of the MVP.

A social platform with real-time messaging.

Implemented WebSocket messaging and notifications in a full-stack application with profiles, posts, groups, and events.

Implementation details

The application uses session authentication and privacy controls. My work also included SQLite database migrations and Docker containers for the Next.js frontend and Go backend.

At the University of Bahrain, I studied cybersecurity. At Reboot, I worked on full-stack applications. My internship at iGA brought that technical foundation into projects shaped by departmental requirements and existing workflows.
